Postal Charges:  Postage and insurance is extra for any order shipped. Normally, all items are shipped via USPS. In order to determine how much shipping will be, we need to have your state and zip code or your country if outside the US before we can quote you the proper shipping price so please include this info when you inquire about an item. Due to the zoning postal rates implemented by the United States Postal Service, postal costs will vary greatly depending on how far from Connecticut the item is being shipped.

 

Postal rates generally start at $4.90 for any item shipped in a box weighing a pound or less and go up from there depending on the weight of the package and the location it is being shipped to. Small items that can be shipped in a padded envelope generally cost $2.50-$3.50 without insurance. Insurance for all orders is extra and recommended--$1.75 for the first $50 of insurance, $2.25 for $51-$100 of insurance, $2.60 for $101-$200 of insurance, $4.60 for $201-$300 of insurance, etc. If not included, orders will not be insured but will be sent at the buyer's risk. Toys of Another Time, L.L.C. cannot be held responsible for uninsured orders so we do recommend it.  Orders in the US are shipped priority mail, however small items mailed in a padded envelope are shipped regular first class mail. 

Fed-Ex Shipping: If you need an item quickly, we can ship your order Fed-Ex overnight as long as we are supplied with the recipient's Fed-Ex account number, and the Fed-Ex shipping cost can be billed to the recipient. If your merchandise is paid for by an instant paypal payment, we can ship your order out that same day if received prior to last Fed-Ex pickup of the day. If payment received too late for pickup, it will be shipped out the next Fed-Ex business day. 

Sales Tax: CT residents must add 6% sales tax. 

 

 

Payment: We accept checks, money orders, or Paypal.  Payment should be made out to Toys of Another Time, L.L.C., and mailed to Toys of Another Time, P.O. Box 642, Shelton, CT 06484, U.S.A. Those orders paid for by cleared paypal payment or a money order are shipped the next business day after we receive payment (usually Monday-Friday, occasionally Saturday).  Orders paid for by checks are held for the check to clear, usually 7-10 days.  A $10 fee will be charged for returned checks. When sending payment please include a note indicating what item you are ordering along with your name, e-mail address and the address where you want your order shipped. 

 

 

International Orders: Orders from outside the U.S. must be paid for by either paypal, a postal money order in U.S. dollars if it is offered by the postal service in your country or by an international money order in U.S. dollars drawn on a U.S. bank. If the money order does not have a U.S. bank branch printed right on it we cannot accept it, so please check this before sending it.  We accept Paypal for International orders so if you are interested in paying by credit card or electronic funds you need to check to see if Paypal is available for your country (www.paypal.com).  PLEASE DO NOT ask us to mark the customs forms as "gift" as we cannot honor this request. 

 

 

Refunds: Purchases are returnable within seven days for a refund if unsatisfied (ten days outside U.S.), but please contact us first to inform us of the return. Once an item is returned to us in the same condition as originally shipped, we will refund your money, minus postage and paypal charges if applicable.

 

Customers without E-mail: Occasionally, people with access to the Internet but without e-mail capability wish to order something from our web site.  If you wish to inquire about the availability of an item by mail, you must include a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) for a response back (SASE must be stamped, not metered), or a phone number that we can call you if still available. We generally don't call if it's NOT available, but we will drop you a note letting you know it is already sold if you have included a SASE.  If the item is available, as long as you included a telephone number we will call you and hold it for you until a specified date after which if payment hasn't been received, we will put the item back up for sale. 

Toys of Another Time Gift Certificates

Gift certificates to Toys of Another Time make the perfect present for your collecting friends and family members when you’re not quite sure what doll or toy they want to add to their collection. Toys of Another Time Gift certificates are good for any purchase on www.dollsntoys.com. Gift certificates can be e-mailed or snail mailed to a recipient. Gift certificates are available in any dollar amount over $25 USD. Gift certificates can be paid for by check, money order, or paypal. Gift certificates paid for by paypal are usually sent out within 24 hours, or the next postal business day if being mailed to recipient. If mailed, certificates take about 7 days to arrive. To purchase a gift certificate, tell us the amount you would like the gift certificate in and the name and e-mail address or name and mailing address of recipient. The Fine Print

1. Gift certificates must be redeemed through Toys of Another Time web site, http://www.dollsntoys.com. Gift certificates can be applied toward the purchase of any product listed in Toys of Another Time’s online catalog with the exception of products from third-party sellers such as those products sold through Amazon.com.
2. Gift certificates are available in any amount over $25 US dollars.
3. Gift certificates from Toys of Another Time do not expire.
4. Recipients will be e-mailed their gift certificate, unless purchaser requests it to be sent via US mail. Hotmail and those who are unable to receive HTML mail will receive a text-only versions of the e-mail gift certificate.
5. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.
6. Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient's gift certificate account and is not transferable.
7. If an order exceeds the amount of the gift certificate, the balance must be paid for before the order is shipped.
8. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or misused gift certificates.
9. If Toys of Another Time ceases doing business on the internet, certificates can still be used at any doll or toy show we sell at and can be redeemed towards items we sell at our booth or table. In the event Toys of Another Time ceases doing business completely, certificates are null and void.
